Professor Nihad Yusuf received his B.Sc. in physics from The University of Jordan in 1973, his M.Sc. from University of Houston, USA in 1976 and his PhD from The Pennsylvania State University, USA in 1981. He has good experience in higher education in Jordan and the Middle East. Professor Yusuf published about forty research papers in reputed journals and conferences. He served as the chairman of the Physics Department at Yarmouk University, Jordan: Director of the Center of Theoretical and Applied Physics, Yarmouk university: Chairman of the Physics Department at the United Arab Emirates University. Furthermore, Professor Yusuf served as a member on the editorial board of the Jordan Journal of Physics for 6 years and as Editor in chief of the same Journal for two years. Currently he serves as dean of graduate studies and scientific research at Princess Sumaya University for Technology, Jordan.
