Dr. GOMBOSUREN UDVAL

Born on June 10. 1964 in Mongolia.

Graduated from Faculty of Zoo Engineering, Irkutsk Agriculture Academy, Russia, majoring in animal science in 1987 and completed Master of Science in animal nutrition in 1988.

Earned Doctor Ph.D in agriculture at School of Biological Resources and Management of Mongolian State University of Agriculture in 2003.

Work experience:

I have started my professional career in 1989 at Research Institute of Animal Husbandry, Mongolia, employed as Researcher at Laboratory of Animal Feed Evaluation. Worked at this institute until 2004 and my duties were conducting research studies on Evaluation of ruminant animal feed phisiology, and nutritive value of fodder grasses.

Then I moved to Mercy corps, Mongolia. Gobi Forage project, worked as Animal nutrition research officer, did following tasks as Evaluation of pasture yield, forecasting of pasture condition; Evaluation of the nutritive value of animal feed using NIRS.

From 2013  up to date working as a chief researcher at the Research Institute of Animal Husbandry.

While employed at these above mentioned organizations I have actively participated in implementation of the different international research projects.

I am an author of more than 60 research publications.
