Majd has broad experience in standardization field in general and in civil engineering, green buildings, water efficiency and water footprinting in specific. Majd has been working for 10 successful years in the editing and follow up division at Jordan Standards and Metrology Organization (JSMO). Moreover, she is/has been holding the work as the Secretary of many technical committees at JSMO such as the Environmental Friendly Construction Products committee, Construction Products committee and Construction Materials committee.

Also; Majd is the winner author of the ISO/DIN 2016 essay contest for young standardizers in developing countries for her essay "International Standards and Developing Jordan's Urban Environment". She was the first from Asian and Arab countries who won this distinguished award.

Majd is participating in many national projects such as being a member since 2009 in the national technical committee for preparing and revising the "Jordan Green Building Guide / 2013". 

Majd is one of the only three Jordanian certified trainers from the ISO for " Water Footprint" according to ISO standard 14046
