Dr. Maen Nsour has a Ph.D. in political economy from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. Dr. Nsour is currently Senior Advisor for Business Development & Strategy at the Arab Potash Company. He was an economic adviser to the Minister of Economy and Planning in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Dr. Nsour was General-Director and Deputy Chairman of the Jordanian Social Security Corporation. He was also Acting President of the Social Security Investment Fund. Before that Dr. Nsour was Chief-of-Staff and Special Advisor to the Prime Minister of Jordan. He was also a member of the ministerial Economic and Financial Committee. Dr. Nsour was Chief Executive Officer of the Jordan Investment Board. Dr. Nsour was Senior Regional Programs Adviser at the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in New York. He was also Director of Policy Planning and Economic Studies at the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation in Jordan. Dr. Nsour was a researcher at the United States Institute of Peace (USIP), a Washington, D.C.-based think tank. Dr. Nsour teaches courses in managerial economics and international trade at the German Jordan University. He sits on the boards of directors of several companies.
