I am a university Professor of the Department of Physics in Bangladesh. The tasks of this job are to teach, guides students in undergraduate, graduate levels and also perform researches.

I stood First Class First Position in my B. Sc. Honors (1993) and M. Sc. with dissertation (1994) Examinations major in Physics from Chittagong University, Bangladesh. I obtained my Ph. D. major in Nuclear & Particle Physics in 2006 (Feb 24) from the Kyungpook National University, Republic of Korea. During Ph. D. degree for the course works I got CGPA 4.01 (out of 4.30). I also completed 2 years postdoc at National Institute of Nuclear Physics (INFN), Italy and European Organization for nuclear Research (CERN), Switzerland. During my 2 years postdoc (ends on 31 May 2011) I worked for the Astrophysics and Nuclear Technologies experiments.

My ongoing research works are on Nuclear, Particle, Health, Radiation, Medical physics, and theoretical high energy physics. I have supervised many thesis students for higher degrees. I have written 2 books and more than 90 papers published in diverse high quality research journals.
