Shahid Ajmal Malik is a senior Journalist associated with Pakistan Television News for the last 15 years. Starting his career as a journalist in less developed south Punjab after doing MA in Journalism, he has an experience of working with the local/national newspapers of Pakistan. Shahid has a deep interest in science & technological development, climate change, and energy issues in Pakistan. To create awareness of science and technological developments, Shahid is the only journalist of the country who went to CERN and produced reports after the inclusion of Pakistan in European Organization for Nuclear Research. Shahid has produced several reports for PTV on social/ economic issues climate change, natural disasters. Shahid has reported for Pakistan Television in UNGA, SCO, OBOR, World Economic Forum and other international forums. Uzbekistan government invited him as an observer in elections. Shahid is an expert in producing documentaries/travelogues based on diversities of cultures. He also hosts a current affairs show on Radio Pakistan. Pakistan Television has recognized him by giving certificates of appreciation. On his interest in the development sector, Shahid is awarded by civil society organizations as well.
