Dr. Snezana Krstic is an independent researcher and consultant and the Founding Chair of the Marie Curie Alumni Association (MCAA), the international association based in Brussels, where she chaired the Board and Executive Committee in the period 2013-2016. Her main background is in chemical engineering andenvironmental management and her interests encompass a wide range of issues at the intersection of science, society, policy and innovation. She has actively participated in European research and higher education policies for many years and is an Ethics Expert in the H2020 Ethics Appraisal Scheme. As an independent expert, she has provided consultancy and expertise to numerous European organisations, departments, institutes and agencies. She has several years of experience in media and in national broadcasting. Large part of her activities were focused on development of human resources in research, supporting careers of young researchers and fostering international and cross-disciplinary cooperation to meet global challenges. She holds several awards for scientific achievements and excellence.
