Saed Khawaldeh is a researcher of Biomedical Engineering, Neurotechnology and Nanotechnology. His main research areas of interest are Nanotechnology, Neurotechnology (MRI, EEG, LFP, BCI, PET), E-health, and Machine Learning, all for brain and cancer studies applications.  

 

In 2014, Khawaldeh has done a research internship at MIT Media Lab (U.S.A.). At the same time, he attended workshops and sessions at Harvard University (U.S.A.). In early 2015, he started a research internship at the National Magnetic Resonance Research Center of Turkey, he also worked as teaching assistant at Bilkent University (Turkey). Afterwards, he started working as a research and teaching assistant between Istanbul Sehir and Bogazici Universities (Turkey). In summer 2016, he started a research internship at MPI for Biological Cybernetics (Germany). Since March 2017, he started a research internship with NASA Medical Informatics Dept. (U.S.A.). He also worked as a research assistant at Aalto University (Finland). Starting from January 2018, Khawaldeh will join the Nuffield Department of Clinical Neurosciences at University of Oxford (U.K.).  

 

Saed Khawaldeh has several articles published and under review in peer-reviewed international journals and conferences in the fields of Biomedical Engineering, Neurotechnology, Nanotechnology, and Image & Signal Processing.
