Prof. Kah was named as VP of Academic Affairs/Provost & Professor of IT & Computing at American University of Nigeria.  He is the outgoing Vice Rector for Technology & Innovation & Founding Dean of the School of IT & Engineering at ADA University, Azerbaijan. He accepted this assignment after completing a six-year tenure as 3rd Vice Chancellor of University of The Gambia. He served as Overseer of the Teachers College. He was the 1st Gambian born to lead UTG.  Prof. Kah cemented his career in academia at Howard, George Washington and Rutgers University. He also served at the American University of Sharjah as Department Chairman.

 

Prof. Kah was honored to be a regular contributor of the Africa Module in the Advanced Leadership Program at the Cambridge Judge Business School (JBS) and was appointed an honorary Fellow in 2016-2017 of the JBS and the Digital Innovation Center, University of Cambridge. He also serves as a member of the Malabo Montpellier Panel, the EuroScience Forum 2018.

 

Prof. Kah completed his BS, MS. and Ph.D. at the Stevens Institute of Technology and holds a Masters of Science in Finance from George Washington University. He was recently awarded a Doctor of Science (Honoris Causa) by the University of the Gambia. He completed the Advanced Leadership Program of the JBS, University of Cambridge and a Postgraduate Diploma (DipSI) in Strategy & Innovation from Said Business School, University of Oxford, UK.
