Iqbal Hamad is an Agriculture Engineer received two master degrees one in Urban Management and Development from Holland the second master in Horticulture and Field Crop from Jordan. Iqbal works for JOHUD since 2007 as a project coordinator for several projects with different themes (Agriculture, Water, Environment, Development, and Social), In 2017, Iqbal got a promotion to be a Director for Women Empowerment and Gender Program where empowering women Economically, Socially, Politically and recently Environmentally are the main components in the department theme taking into consideration the governance approach in our work. Iqbal used to be a lecturer while she was a master student and she seeks to build the women's capacities in all Jordanian governorates in order to be more active, enthusiastic and effective in their communities by enhancing their self-esteem. Iqbal believes on the importance of gender equity as a first step in achieving gender equality to guarantee the wellbeing for all Jordanian. Iqbal participated in different research (scientific, social) as a research assistant.
