Dr. Irfan Ahmad Gondal holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and his research interests include Renewable and Sustainable Energy Sysiems. In addition Dr. Irfan has special interest in Climate Change and Green Production.

Dr. Irfan is heading an NGO namely "Renewable Energy Vision for a Modern Pakistan (REVAMP)". His research work has been published in International journals with significant 'Impact factor'.

He is a visiting Researcher at the "International Centre for Theoretical Physics, Italy" and UNESCO's "International Centre for Hydrogen Energy Technologies, Turkey". He has recently been nominated Member of the National Technology Council, Pakistan.

As a strong visionary for the promotion of Renewable energy resources, Dr. Irfan founded the Fuel Cell Society at the University of Engineering & Technology, Taxila. 

He serves on the editorial board of a number of scientific journals. Dr. Irfan is a regular speaker at the Academy of Sciences, Turkmenistan at the Annual Science Day. He is also a keynote speaker at various International fora pertaining to Renewable Energy systems and Materials  for energy.
