Ms Lindiwe Gama started working for the government of South Africa in 1998.   She has served as a government administrator at the Department of Home Affairs, Environmental Affairs, and Office of the Public Service Commission.  She Joined the Department of Science and Technology in 2008, where she is serving as a Deputy Director: Multilateral Cooperation.  Her work involves championing relations and collaborations with various science related multilateral organisation. Her work has contributed in strengthening the South African National System of Innovation.  Her qualifications includes a Masters in Public Administration from the University of Pretoria.
