Giulia Del Brenna (1970 - Italian / French) is Deputy Head of the Cabinet of Commissioner Carlos Moedas – Research, Science and Innovation.

A graduate of Sciences Po Paris, she holds a Master in European Studies from ICADE Madrid, and is an Official of the European Commission since 1996. Among other functions, she has been Assistant to the Director General of DG Enterprise and Industry from 2005 to 2008, and Head of the Pharmaceutical, Food and Biotechnology industries Unit from 2008 to 2011. More recently, she was the Advisor responsible for Administration and Public Health issues in the Task Force for Greece.
