Batyigul Bayachorova, professor, Head of the Department of Software Engineering of the Kyrgyz National University (KNU), an Honored worker of Kyrgyz Republic.

Graduated from Leningrad (now St. Petersburg) State University with a degree in applied mathematics. Candidate of physical and mathematical sciences. She worked as Head of the Department of Informatics, Director of the Center of  Information Technologies, Director of the Eurasian Institute of Information Technologies, Dean of the Faculty of Information Technologies. In 2001-2005 worked as a National coordinator of the International Environmental Program Globe as a public work.

In 2006-2013 volunteered as a coordinator for the International Educational Projects of Tempus in KNU.
