Abdeslam Badre is a social scientist, with a strong research interest in Policy Development in the fields of Youth, Gender, Higher Education & Professional Leadership; Transformational Policies; Migration; and the Media, especially in the context of Africa and the EU Cooperation. After completing his PhD, he completed a Carnegie postdoctoral fellowship (University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill in 2014); a visiting post-doc fellowship (UN University of Barcelona in 2015). Professionally, Badre has been a visiting researcher & professor at various international universities: Alfred University (New York); Monterey Institute for International Studies (California); Aalborg University (Denmark); Institute for Cultural Diplomacy (Berlin); Babeș-Bolyai University (Cluj-Romania), the University of North Carolina (Chapel Hill), UN University (Barcelona); and currently, he is a professor at Mohammed V University of Rabat. For the last few years, Badre has been serving as an independent consultant for a number of organizations; writing policy documents such as White Papers, Reports, and Initiatives. His recent assignments included work with the US-DOL Program in MENA; Management System International; the ERASMUS+ in various EU states; AIMS; Konrad Adenauer Stiftung; Institute for Cultural Diplomacy; and Youth in Action Vision 2020.
