Qais has more than 15- years of successful experience in conventional energy, renewable energy and energy efficiency projects. He worked as site Electrical engineer for 5 years in the installation of indoor, outdoor substations and supervising all related electrical works. Moreover, Qais is working since more than 12 years in the standardization department at Jordan standards and metrology organization (JSMO), he is now the Head of engineering industries division and he is the secretary of many technical committees such as the energy efficiency technical committee, the generation, transition and distribution committee. He is also the secretary of the Additive manufacturing (AM) specialized technical committee at JSMO.

 Also; Qais is participating in many national and regional projects in energy field and used to work in energy projects with international Organizations such as the World Bank, United Nation Environmental Program (ENEP) and the United Nation Developing Program (UNDP).

Moreover; Qais is an Expert in the energy field for the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (MEMR) such as being a technical expert for the tax exemption committee.
