More than 20 years in tourism & urban development, Infrastructure planning & development and cultural heritage planning & management. Currently is Director General of the Jordan Museum, was urban planning, tourism & institutional development advisor with Chemonics at  USAID- Tourism Development Projects, projects manager at MK Associates (Iraq projects) and Franco Zagari (Italy), and previously tourism & urban planner & the Director of Sustainable Planning & Tourism at Amman Institute for Urban Development (Ai). Also worked as tourism planning consultant with USAID . 

Has previous work experience as the Acting Secretary General of the Ministry of Tourism & Antiquities where he was leading the national effort of Tourism Product Development.

Antiquities (MoTA) where he was leading the national effort of tourism product development and infrastructure in Jordan. He was part of effort led to the establishment of Petra Region Planning Council, the formulation of the National Tourism Strategy (2004-2010), the establishment of the Technical Development Department, the initiation and activation of the Law of the Cultural Heritage Protection in Jordan, and the planning and implementation of several major tourism sites & facilities infrastructure development programs such as the Jordan Museum and several thematic museums across Jordan. 

He is part-time lecturer at School of Engineering at the University of Jordan.

Holds M.Sc. in Urban Design & B.Sc. in Archtecture Engineering from UoJ.
