Maha Al-Saad, a Clinical Pharmacist (Pharm.D) and a Public Health Practitioner; has six years of work and volunteer experience in health and community development in Jordan. She is currently working as a Population and Policy Specialist at the Jordan Communication, Adovacy and Policy (JCAP), a USAID funded project run by Abt Associates.

 

Dr. Al-Saad holds two masters degrees, one in Global Health & Social Justice from King’s College London, and another in Population, Family and Reproductive health from Bloomberg School of Public Health/Johns Hopkins University. She's also an alumnus of two prestigious scholarships; Chevening and Fulbright. 

 

Dr. Al-Saad has always been interested in health inequalities between and within countries, and given her recent experience with vulnerable communities in Za’atari Syrian refugee camp, her interest has shifted towards understanding the role of science in promoting a world where disparities in health no longer exist.
