Shahm is a Partner of Foursan Group. Prior to joining Foursan, Shahm was with Debevoise & Plimpton in New York, a leading global law firm, having spent six years focusing on US and Middle Eastern mergers and acquisitions and capital markets transactional and advisory work.

Shahm is a Director of Foursan Capital Partners I, Atico-Fakhreldin, Shamsuna Power, Siniora Food Industries and Zalatimo Sweets. He is a Member of the Economic Policies Council chaired by His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan. Shahm is also a Director of the Central Bank of Jordan and the Health Care Accreditation Council. He is President Emeritus of the Harvard Arab Alumni Association, an Advisory Board member of the Beirut Institute and a Member of the Steering Committee of the National Bank of Iraqi. Shahm is also a Trustee of the Shoman Foundation and the Amman Baccalaureate School. Shahm is an attorney admitted to the New York Bar.

Shahm received a Juris Doctorate in Law from the University of Virginia School of Law and a Bachelors of Arts in Government, magna cum laude, from Harvard University.
