Imad Khatib is a Professor of energy engineering at Palestine Polytechnic University (PPU). Currently, he leads the PPU as its president. He is also the secretary general of the Palestine Academy for Science and Technology (PALAST), the national STI umbrella organization. Khatib holds a Ph.D. in modeling the transport and dispersion of the atmosphere in macro-, meso- and micro-scales and the scales interactions from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and an M.Phil. in Renewable Energy Engineering from University of Wales, Cardiff.
