Tala is a healthcare engineer working at the intersection of healthcare operations and medical technology. She is an active member in IEEEE- Jordan branch since 2007. In 2009, she initiated and led the Women in Engineering (WIE) Society at the Princess Sumaya University in Technology. She is a Fulbright Program Alumna and a member of the Fulbright Alumni Association, the Jordan Engineers Association, the UN Association of New York, and the Columbia Alumni Association.Tala holds a master degree in biomedical engineering from Columbia University in New York and a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the Princess Sumaya University of Technology. She currently works in operational affairs at the King Hussein Cancer Center in Amman.
