I graduated from the University of Jordan as a computer engineer; my bachleor's thesis investigated the use of ensemble based machine learning algorithms on the stock market - the code and paper are both publicly available. After that I interned at the NASA Ames Research center in California; there I assisted geology professors in forecasting earthquakes, and I built the largest three-dimensional web-based interactive browser of geospatial data on the web. Now I'm a data scientist at ArabiaWeather, the Arab world's largest private weather forecasting company; I design and build automatic weather prediction machine learning models, run model verification tests, and enhance existing simulation models to better suit our needs. I'm also working on Jordan's first satellite: I'm the lead engineer for the satellite's on board computer.
