Dr. Muhammad Qasim

Muhammad Qasim completed his PhD in Bio-engineering from Chung Ang University, South Korea and currently serving as Research Professor in South Korea. His research work is concerned with nanomedicince, biomaterials, polymeric nanoparticles, nanogels and nanofibers for 3D cell culture and tissue engineering. Previously, he served in the Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission (PAEC), National AIDS Control program Pakistan (UNFPA), National TB Control Program Pakistan (GF UNO) and Quaid-i-Azam University Islamabad, Pakistan, Ajou University School of Medicine,Korea, Konkuk University, Korea as a researcher. He also worked in collaboration with the Bioengagment Program (BEP) USA, Landu Network Centre Volta (LNCV, Italy), International Council for Life Sciences (ICLS) and American Association for Advancement of Sciences (AAAS, USA) for various projects of risk management, bioethics, biosafety, Biosecurity, dual use education and responsible conduct of sciences in Pakistan and Middle East region. He is a motivated young scientist and social activist. He is also serving as a Young Leader at CTBTO Youth (IAEA, Austria) and Young Leader at Pacific Forum CSIS (Center for Strategic and International Studies, USA). Moreover, he has responsibilities of the president of the Broader Middle East and North Africa Association of Young Scientist (BAYS). He is a member of many world advisory committees, forums and organisations working in science diplomacy and technology domains.
