Richard Myhill is the Director of the London International Youth Science Forum(LIYSF) and is responsible for the planning and running of the annual international academic student conference. Since September 2008 he has ran LIYSF and manages all academic strategy, student recruitment and selection, speaker programme and all event aspects. LIYSF welcomes 500 students aged 16-21 years old from 75 countries to Imperial College London for a two week science enrichment programme and was established in 1959.

Richard has a varied background and interest in science, education, economics and society.  He has a Bachelor’s degree in law and qualifications in Human Anatomy and Physiology, with a keen interest in Maths, Technology and Biology. He has judged at many national and international science competitions worldwide and has been invited to give lectures on science communication, outreach and education.
