Dr Camille Mba, aged 26 years is a very recently graduated MD and graduate student in Medical Biochemistry and Public Health Biotechnology at the University of Yaounde 1, Cameroon. Dr Mba is also a current student at Harvard Medical School, GCSRT 2017-2018, completing a program in clinical investigations.
After completing her MD, Dr Mba worked as a General Practioner at the Biyem-Assi District Hospital, Yaoundé-Cameroon for some months, before getting into research where she currently works as Field Supervisor in the research Project; Cameroon National Diabetes and Hypertension Program. She has great interest for clinical investigations in non communicable diseases especially the silent ones such as diabetes. She aims to pursue a clinically oriented research carier by pursuing at a PHD level in molecular biology and genetics, and also a clinical carrier in endocrinology. All this with the aim of improving health care practices in her country and region
