Tareq Hasan

Vice President for Standards & Technology at the Royal Scientific Society                          

He holds Masters with honor’s degree in Electronic Engineering with Medical Electronics from University of Cardiff - Wales / UK.

 Eng. Tareq is in charge of directing & supervising  RSS   technical  services including  testing facilities , calibration services and activities , biomedical engineering management  , conformity assessment ( inspection & certification ) of products according to national  and international standards  to ensure standards  are set and maintained in the kingdom  .

For the past decade Tareq Hasan has worked on upgrading Jordan’s technical capabilities though his work at the Royal Scientific Society (RSS) with the support of local and foreign organizations .

He has a leading role in establishing Jordan’s National Metrology Institute  ( JNMI ) at RSS providing Jordan with measurements & calibration services needed by the accreditation bodies reference  to

ISO/IEC 17025 standards  .

Also not to mention his efforts in establishing & developing many technical engineering labs in RSS such as automated  chemical labs for  food & chemical industries ,  microbiology labs for health and technology  ,  water analysis  labs , electrical , mechanical ,  and many other  labs  within  RSS campus .
