Dr. Hazem S Hasan has more than 15 years of experience in Plant Protection. He is capable to conduct studies in the fields of Entomology, Insect Taxonomy, as well as in the Insect Ecology and population dynamics and Integrated Pest Management, his Ph.D. dissertation was in the field Taxonomical and Ecological Studies on Insects Associated with Animal Carcasses in Jordan in Forensic Entomology and Modelling. He published several articles appeared in Insect Ecology and Plant Protection also research leader in a Study on Design and Program the Virtual Platform for Information Collection, Processing, Analysis and Dissemination for Rio Convention-related Information (UNFCCC, CBD, UNCCD) in Jordan with UNDP and Ministry of environment, working in biodiversity study of environmental impacted assessment related to fauna. He has excellent computer programming skills, with primary expertise in Insect Taxonomy and ecology modeling. He offered teaching courses in General Entomology,  Insect Taxonomy, Insect Ecology and Behavior, Graduate Projects, Principles of Plant Protection, Bee keeping, and Medical Entomology. Last three years, he has been recruited in many EU funded research projects as a team member or as researcher such as MiMir with EU.
