Acting Head of Field Epidemiology Training Program (FETP) and NCDs focal point in the Ministry of Health (MOH) Egypt I have graduated from medical school in 1996 from the University Ain Shams and I finished in General Hospital in Ain Shams university hospital. I spent two years residency in FETP program and I then joined a Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit working director of FETP in Egypt for 8 years
I finished the specialty in Public health (master degree and Board degree and I am working now in the Preventive sector director for both FETP and NCDs program, Member of AFENET group for Surveillance and Epidemiology of NCDs in Africa.
I have conducted several researches as the principal investigator in relation to infectious diseases and stepwise survey of NCDs and associated risk factors. Designed, Coordinated and train physicians and Sanitarians on epi-methods and statistical data management. work with international organizations; USAID, WHO, CDC, NAMRU3 and FAO in developing program work plan for MOHP at National, provincial & district government levels. Promoting integrated and community-based programs for child health and infectious disease programs with practical application of program strategies.
