Alessandro Bello is the Project Officer of the UNESCO global project STEM and Gender Advancement (SAGA). He holds a Master degree in Policy Governance and another one in International Relations. He was previously a Consultant for the Science Policy and Capacity Building Programme at UNESCO Montevideo Office (2011-2016). Before joining UNESCO, he worked at the Italian Embassy in Honduras. He has published numerous papers related to Science, Technology and Innovation policy and on women and science.
