Rawan Alhindawi who's graduated in 2010 as Computer Engineer from Jordan University of Science and Technology is a young activist in the field of women empowerment and youth development.
in 2010, Rawan participated in MEPI leadership program in USA, during that time, Rawan had the opportunity to meet people from 19 different countries.
her career started with HP where she worked for two years, in 2013, she was one of 32 young professionals who were selected for SAP young professional program, the first of its kind in Jordan,at the end of the program she was certified as SAP SCM consultant, SAP PM consultant, and SAP terp10.
in 2016, Rawan started her career with Oxfam to join their livelihoods program which focuses on women empowerment technically and financially and started their new concept of using UNHCR old tents and upcylce them to make bags.
currently, Rawan works with IRC on Economic Recovery and Development plan which helps women from different nationalities to get an access to Business trainings and earn some financial aid to start their own home-based businesses.
Rawan is nominated to recieve Arab Woman of year 2017 Award in London under the category of Young Professional Women.
her achievements so far:
- Global Youth Ambassador from August 2015- August 2016.
- Global Champion for Women’s Economic Empowerment (UN) 2015-2016.
