Dr. Wasim Alhalasah is currently director of technical affairs for the Scientific Research Support Fund, and has been since July, 2011.

Dr. Alhalasah worked in government and private sectors for 15 years. His experience is diverse, including working in the Ministry of Education, executive manager and business owner of an industrial company, and director of scientific affairs.

He holds a Doctorate degree in Physical Chemistry from Chemnitz University of Technology, Germany obtained in 2007, and a M.Sc. in physical chemistry from Mu’tah University, Jordan obtained in 2002. He also obtained his BSc. from Mu’tah University in 1997. He is a member of several local, regional and international professional associations. Dr. Alhalasah has published several articles in scholarly, peer-reviewed journals, on the topic of electrochemical materials science and conducting polymers.
