Dr. Abulrob is a Senior Research Officer at Human Therapeutics Research Centre-National Research Council of Canada which is the primary national research and technology organization of the Government of Canada, in science and technology research and development. He earned his degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences with distinction from University of Jordan and Masters in Clinical Pharmacy at University of Strathclyde in Glasgow in Scotland and a PhD in Pharmaceutical Cell Biology and Biotechnology at Cardiff University in the UK.

He has over 20 years of research experience in biotechnology and nano-biotechnology. He established several international industrial collaborations with large pharmaceutical companies and also assisted small and medium enterprises in their R&D efforts to develop innovative products. He is also Professor at the Department of Cellular & Molecular Medicine at Faculty of Medicine-University of Ottawa in Ontario, Canada. Dr. Abulrob holds 10 patents in the field of antibodies and nanotechnology. He received many awards including Industrial Partnership award in 2006 and National Research Council Group Achievement award in 2008, National Research Council Entrepreneurship and Innovation Award in 2010 and Research and Technology Breakthrough Award in 2017.
