Ms. Abdel-Meguid has 27 years of professional experience in the fields of science and culture. Ms. Abdel-Meguid worked with the Egyptian Environmental Affairs Agency (Cabinet of Ministers) and then joined UNESCO Regional Bureau for Science and Technology in the Arab States to hold different jobs within the different UNESCO divisions.
During her work experience in the UNESCO, Ms. Abdel-Meguid developed good record of accomplishment of project management skills in multi-dimension fields and multi-culture environment. In 2016, she was involved in the launching of the “Arab Network for Knowledge and Sustainable Development – ANKSD” which is mainly to contribute to enhancing the “Science/ Knowledge/ SDG interface in the Arab Region”.
Ms. Abdel-Meguid received her degrees of a License of English Literature and language (Cairo University in 1989), a Higher Diploma of Translation from English into Arabic (Cairo University in 1992), and a Higher Diploma of Archaeology (Sana’a University, Republic of Yemen in 2010).
