Karen Umansky is a third-year Ph.D. candidate at the Department of Public Policy at Tel Aviv University, Israel. The major scope of her research lies in the recent electoral success of the radical populist right in contemporary European democracies and its impact on European population, politics and politics, while focusing on immigration as one of the triggers for it.
