Rana Zayadin is a PhD Researcher who recently completed her studies in the field of entrepreneurship.  Her research focused on the context of regional political instability and the entrepreneurs’ own experiences operating within their local and regional contexts.  In her research Rana adopted a phenomenographic approach and introduced a framework of understanding the role of context in the entrepreneurs' decision making process.

Prior to her PhD studies, Rana was the Executive Director of Outreach and International Cooperation at the Royal Scientific Society.  Rana has a diverse experience working as Senior Communications Manager for the Mayor of Amman, working with USAID and USAID funded projects in addition to managing executive education programmes at University of Toronto, Rotman School of Management. 

Rana is a member of the British Academy of Management; and an Associate Fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy, also a recipient of the Women Leadership Award in 2009.
