Tamás Németh (born in 1952) is a Hungarian agrochemist, best known for his work on soil fertility, plant nutrition and environmental side effects. Currently he is working at University of Kaposvár and Institute for Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry.

He was awarded several Hungarian and foreign prizes including Széchenyi Prize. He had received five Doctor Honoris Causa titles. He is also foreign member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Agriculture and Forestry.He is member of  the Hungarian Governmental scientific bodies on the field of agriculture and environment.
