González Pérez, Marisol

Full professor at Havana University and researcher at the National Center of Animal and Plant Health. She is biologist and holds a PhD in animal health, specifically in the creation and evaluation of a vaccine. As a complement to her profile, she has researched on science, technology, innovation and society, and lectures in these areas.

Since 2012, she is the Director of science, technology and innovation in the Ministry of Higher Education in Cuba. She is in charge of the promotion and control of research in universities. She has promoted innovation, the technology transfer of R+ D results from university to society, for its influence in the wellbeing of people and prosperity.
