Promoting Useful Research in Service of the Local Community, Professional Ethics, and Democracy

Finished high school in Irbid/Jordan, and graduated from a French national engineering school and from universities in the United States. Is a member of Tau Beta Pi and Eta Kappa Nu honorary socieitis. Ranked as rising star number 47 by Arnetminer in the fielad of software design/computer science in 2009. Have been professor of computer science at Al al-Bayt University (AABU) since 1995, and worked as visiting professor at Jordan University of Science and Technology (2007-2010). Held several and various administrative positions at AABU throughout my academic career, and played a key role in numerous ad hoc committees at the university and national levels. Played a key/leading role in several national and international infrastructure and research projects, including some mult-million large projects. Published over sixty papers in reputed international  journals and in in national and international conferences, and worked as editor-in-chief, member of the editorial board, and reviewer for local journals and reputed international journals. Have been promoting usefull research, longterm startigic thinking, professional ethics, and social responsibility and democracy. I enjoy gardenning and like history.
